Maisie Adam: Work In Progress

Maisie Adam returns to her native Yorkshire with an exclusive work in progress show as part of this year’s Leeds Comedy Festival.

Having spent the last year unable to perform live, she has busied herself with countless appearances on TV shows such as ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, ‘Mock the Week’, ‘QI’, ‘Have I Got News for You’, ‘Would I Lie To You?’ and ‘Richard Osman’s House of Games’, as well as creating and hosting  the podcast ‘That’s A First’ alongside fellow comedian Tom Lucy.

Maisie catapulted onto the comedy circuit In 2017 when she won the hugely prestigious  ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition at Edinburgh Fringe (which has previously been won by Peter Kay, Aisling Bea, and Tom Allen amongst others) and returned the following year where she was nominated for the Best Newcomer at the 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

She returned to the Edinburgh Fringe the following year with her show ‘Hang Fire’, which she then toured around the UK and Europe to great acclaim and sold out shows with her run at the Soho Theatre being extended several times
